Isaac Apea is a Partner at 1414 Ventures. He is a seasoned investment professional with over 8 years of experience spanning venture capital, private equity, and growth equity.He leverages his extensive expertise to drive investments and support the portfolio.

 

Previously, Isaac was a Venture Capital Investor and voting member of the Investment Committee at American Family Ventures. In this role, he sourced, diligenced, and invested capital in early-stage opportunities. His areas of focus included enterprise software, fintech, insurtech and digital identity

 

Isaac was also a founding investment team member at The Consello Group, a $1 billion technology-focused growth equity fund. There, he played a key role in developing the fund’s infrastructure, including sourcing strategies and investment committee constructs, and was involved in all aspects of fundraising and investment analysis.

 

His extensive background also includes his tenure as a Private Equity Associate at The Carlyle Group, where he evaluated and monitored investments for a $9 billion private equity fund. His expertise in financial analysis, deal structuring, and investment strategy was instrumental in executing high-value transactions across various sectors. Isaac began his career in investment banking at William Blair

 

Isaac is also an active angel investor with multiple successful up rounds and enjoys helping underrepresented founders navigate the ecosystem.
